Highstreet Transit Exchange Construction Notice

The City of Abbotsford will be constructing the Highstreet Transit Exchange on the north side of Highstreet Access Road from January to August 2026.

This project will add new bus bays, a multi‑use pathway, pedestrian lighting, plaza spaces, street trees, and a transit operator washroom.

Some traffic impacts are expected during construction. Two‑way traffic, all mall entrances, and all parking will remain open and accessible throughout construction. Work will take place Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

During construction, bus stops on Highstreet Access Road will be temporarily moved to Cardinal Avenue, next to the mall.

Highstreet's Administration Office is located in the J building hallway. 

The admin office is open Monday to Friday from 10 am to 4 pm. 

Starting September 14, the admin office will no longer be open Saturday or Sunday.
